"Rías Baixas" Product Classification The Vento Mareiro wine forms part of the "Rías Baixas" product classification, within the sub-zone of O Salnés, the flattest of the five (the others are O Condado, O Rosal, A Ulla and Soutomaior).   The basic variety is Albariña, which occupies most of the cultivated area. Characterised by their low production and scarcity, the wines that are produced here are especially appreciated and select.   Although authenticated by a centuries-old commitment, the product classification spares no effort to control wine making, and only wines that meet strict official standards receive the "Rías Baixas" label.. « The winery | The region
